Default UK's RCI Group buy ex-Swedish Navy boats for African patrols

Risk Consultants International Ltd has bought six Hugin and Kaparen class patrol boats for "patrolling Africas coast". The boats is of course now stripped of gun and sensors but should be a fairly nice platform to add stuff to.

Current status, 3 of them in harbor:

    When active:

Fully kitted they had a 57 mm Bofors, RB12 (Penguin) anti-ship missiles, mine rails, grenade throwers, depth charges, various active and passive mast sensors, hull-integrated sonar and towable sonar.

Built in Norway at the end of the 1970s. Top speed 36 knots according to wiki...

Sweden had 16 with the last one decommisioned in 2001.
