It is from another forum and they didn't told me the source yet but they say it is from Dassault's studies.

Kuwait says wants Rafale jets, awaiting terms

PARIS, Oct 21 (*******) - Kuwait is hoping to buy advanced Rafale combat jets from France and is awaiting terms from Paris, Kuwaiti Defence Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Hamad al-Sabah said on Wednesday.

'Obviously we would be proud to have the Rafale in the heart of our armed forces in Kuwait. We hope to see the terms for this soon,' Sheikh Jaber told reporters after a meeting with his French counterpart Herve Morin in Paris.

'It is true that we hope to have the Rafale in our air force,' he said, in remarks translated into French by an interpreter.

The Rafale, Dassault Aviation's newest multirole combat aircraft, has been a flagship programme for France's arms industry but has had problems in finding export buyers, despite major efforts by French authorities.

    Edit : already posted above

There were rumours lately about very good Rafale assessments given to Lybia and Kuwait by UAE .. seems more than rumours finally.

Seems there is still some negotiations needed in the UAE. First time I hear about production rights and full ToT.

Following the official visit of French President Nicolas Sarkozy to the UAE in early 2009, when he reportedly opened talks for the possible purchase of 60 RAFALE fighters, considerable forward moment has taken place with the sides holding several rounds of discussions on the issue. An important step was achieved in mid-September 2009, when the Emirates reportedly submitted a detailed list of the technical specifications they would need to see satisfied for the RAFALE deal to proceed. While the original proposal, as tabled by President Sarkozy reportedly involved aircraft (arguably to the F.2 standard) being diverted from the French Air Force’s production line, the UAE now wants not only a complete technology transfer for local assembly, but also the right to further export the aircraft to third countries in the region - i.e., the same package as being offered to Brazil.

It remains to be seen, though, whether the French Government and Dassault Aviation would be willing to accept these conditions, and whether the infant aerospace industry in the UAE would actually be able to tackle a programme of this magnitude. Another major stumbling block is represented by the UAE’s insistence for any deal to also involve France taking back the 62 MIRAGE 2000-9 currently in service. This, however, is being strongly resisted by both Dassault Aviation and the French Air Force.

    lol

I hope this won't become a ''must have'' in every future tender.
And i am sure Dassault/EADS/SAAB/LM/Boeing do as well.

Tireur fires the MICA which is guided on to the target by the Illuminateur. In effect the missile fired by one aircraft can be handled by another.

I may be wrong, but from the pics, a Rafale will fire a MICA missile at a pursuing target drone that is taggged and designated by another Rafale.

^ Yeah, it shows Rafale can work well in a network and share data, but more than anything, it shows how versatile Mica AAM is.

nah i read pic was taken in Norfolk in '08 and that F22 wouldn't be there if it were not for engine issues.

See above + pic was taken by the Rafale M pilot.

French crew tried to get real close to the F22 but our ''allies" MP told them 10 meters was close enough... (that's what the author of the pic reported anyways)
