I love this guy. He see's the US through the eyes of an investment banker and is willing to go through a depression to clean up liquidity for the sake of...well I'm not sure anymore. Those are people on the other side not nameless stocks. I disagree that the debasing of the dollar was intentional but rather a side effect not a cause. I agreed with the first reduction in interest but the continued ones were a bit much. We could have handled some "tough love" from the Fed if it wasn't for alot of the hyped "abandon ship" hysteria thats been coming from the media lately.
I hope this guy dies a slow painful death. Its his speculation (yeah him) that helped drive the price of oil through the roof.
Hysteria, indeed...and that is what drives good economies into deep depressions. Lazy, stupid governments and fear speculators usually get their just desserts. And, as usual, the people will suffer and be made to pick up the trash from the last day of prosperity..
