Long story short;

Went to an school reunion party 2 months ago. Started chatting to an old class mate - we talked all night and when she's about to leave she asks me; "So, are you never gonna' ask for my number or what?". The day after we are texting, arranging plans to meet up on a date. We keep texting regularly and we finally meet up. Nothing really happens on that date, except from me picking up a ton of very conflicting hints, insinuating opposite things. I give it a second chance and meet up with her again a week later. Again nothing happens until I'm about to leave, where she finally tells me she already has a boyfriend - and they just had their 5 year anniversary. She told me she had to figure out her life, but also that she definitely wanted to see more of me.
2 days ago she broke up with him. Yesterday she made the 2½h travel down to where i live and asked me if I still wanted to see her. Guess we're going out now

Passed the Canadian Firearms Safety course today. Just a bit of paperwork now and I'll finally have my PAL

Just the NR for now as the place I took the course/test at separates the courses for what ever reason. Going to wait until the next class schedule comes out to schedule for the restricted and eventually my hunters too. Yeah, I heard 3-4 weeks at least just for me to get back my form and then sending out my actual license application and the 28 day wait etc. Good thing I'm broke right now and am in no hurry to buy anything So far the hardest part has been deciding what firearm to get first

The 'deciding' part might be fun actually. If you're ever in the states you'd find awesome deals there AND trying them out in the Sedona desert, it's perfect weather in November/December.

Trying to figure out what I'll get the most use out of for cheap. Problem is my instructor had a sks, remington 870 and a savage .22 semi auto, which all seemed very nice. That sounds like a wicked good time. No way I'd get away with trying guns out in a suburban backyard
