    Default GPS Jamming

I was not sure which forum to post this to, so I picked Gear.

GPS signal is very weak. The US forces, strategy and tactics, rely heavily on uninterrupted presence of the signal. I know that many companies are working and producing GPS jammers. You can even buy one commercially that will jam a vehicle. Which is just an example of the state of affairs and has nothing to do with the battlefield.

What's being done to counter the jamming. IMO it can have disastrous consequences for the US forces.

I've also seen reports that the jamming was successfully used by Saddam forces until the jammers were destroyed by gravity bombs, a lot of gravity bombs in the general area. I would appreciate a confirm of that.

How are you gonna teach a bomb to use a compass and a map?
