Firefight 10km northwest of Kunduz. German engineers were attacked by OMF, the enemy fled after an exchange of fire. No German fatalities.

Afghanistan: Unfall durch Vergiftung mit Kohlenmonoxid

    Feyzabad, 14.12.2009, Einstellzeit: 14.05 Uhr.

    Stand: 13 Uhr

The danger coming from CO is underestimated in most of the times. You cant see and cant smell the ****.

More then once I ordered to install the CO indicators properly, because the soldiers stripped them to the roof of the T2 tents while heating it with the big diesel heaters.

Good that nobody died. CO victims die during the night mostly.

    The most important aspects:

    - OMF brought Pick-Ups to the scene which made the German commander believe there was a serious threat that the Pick-Ups could be converted into rolling bombs with the fuel, so the accusation the stuck trucks would not have posed an imminent threat is void

    - The American pilots and not the Germans suggested to do some sort of over-kill

    - The American pilot did contact USCENTCOM and the attack was conducted with full approval from there

    - Locals are full of praise for the airstrike, even some family members of casualties didn't express anger or hatred when they were interviewed

    - The crowd around the trucks could hear the airplanes but would eventually decide to stay at the scene

    - The German legal advisor thought the airstrike was fully legit

The question is...what did Mr. Popal do there?
What about Taliban leaders that were to be taken out?

Before I downloaded it I ensured myself that reading published secret material is not a punishable offense in the StGB

Publishing is, but once secret material has been published reading it is not a crime.

Also the thing is only VS-NfD, just like most Essenspläne.

Default "taleban three step plan" to storm camp kunduz

Very interesting article at ZEIT online. It´s about a three step taleban plan to storm PRT Kunduz, which was discovered by KSK and BND.

    1. Step:
Taleban wanted to blast first ring of defense with the road tanker

    2. Step:
In the 2. step they wanted to pass the second ring by help of suicide pick-ups.

    3. Step:
Camp should be entered by a high amount of insurgents.
