    From me also congratulations to the successfull mission, and let me say that I find that Chille is a great country. You as a nation have stayed together in this hard time, this is a greate example to follow. Bravo!!!

    It makes sense since the carrier would be less useful than the amphib ship. What's Chile going to fly off of them? Worn out Harriers? Certainly not any F-35s. Plus it'd take a huge amount of money away from the real fleet.

    The Foudre OTOH is a better investment.

    They said that Chilean marines (CIM) are going to buy 40 strykers from Canada ( General Dynamic Land Systems. )
