    Great pics of the Polish Forces Jocker. Excellent!..zalmoxis..Great job!

    I tried to use Firefox3 this morning..It's ok for doing crap on line I don't do..such as listen to music, chat, play games, watch videos etc..etc.. But when I tried to post pics with three tabs open it just started freezing up..And don't tell me it's my computer. My comupter can do everything but toast bread...Sooo I'm back to IE.

    Sorry for any repost...No new US DoD pics posted today..It's a holiday in the US..Happy Labor Day!

    BEIJING, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- The 6.1-magnitude quake that jolted southwest China's Sichuan and Yunnan provinces on Saturday has killed 32 people, according to the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

    Sichuan reported 27 deaths and the other five were in Yunnan, the ministry said Sunday night.

    The quake that occurred at 4:30 p.m Saturday also injured more than 400 people.

    The epicenter was at the juncture of Renhe District in Panzhihua and Huili County in Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Liangshan, Sichuan. It was at a depth of 10 km, the China Earthquake Administration said.

    Today (Monday, September 1st) a multinational operation codenamed "Open Spirit" 2008 began on the waters of the Bay of Riga. The operation's goal is to clear the Baltic of unexploded ordinance left during both world wars. It will last for 12 days. Navy vessels from Lativia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belgium, Holland, France, Germany and Poland are taking part.

    This gun looks like an old US-made M1916 75mm piece. IIRC the Jordanians had some and at least one found its way on a French-made Lorraine tractor.
