The Police announced that it has been seized more than six tons of cocaine . two Colombians and two Ecuadorians were stopped, next to the border with Colombia. The operation " VICTORY " explained the commander-in-chief of the Police of Ecuador, Gral. Freddy Martinez, carried out between Thursday and Saturday last in the Emerald province, to the north of the country. The drug was intercepted east Monday in the locality of San Lorenzo, one of the last Ecuadorian enclaves before arriving at Colombian territory, informed Martinez the drug seized, located in one property that worked like storing center, belongs to several organizations of narcotics traffickers, because the police could identify at least 18 logos different in the narcotic packages. According to Martinez, the shipment could have reached in the market around the 180 million dollars.
