Iran unveils new satellites, carrier
Iran on Wednesday unveiled three new satellites and a satellite carrier, a year after it placed its first domestic research satellite into orbit.
The three satellites — Tolou, Mesbah 2 and Navid — are telecommunication satellites and have been designed and produced domestically.
In the inauguration ceremony attended by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian Aerospace Organization (IAO) also unveiled the country's first homemade satellite carrier engine, called Simorgh.
On February 3, 2009, Iran placed a research satellite, Omid, into orbit.
Omid carried experimental satellite control devices, communications equipment and power supply systems to a distance of 250 to 350 kilometers from the earth's atmosphere.
Mesbah 2 is a low-orbit communications satellite, which will be placed in orbit 400 to 1600 miles above the earth. It is designed to make the round trip around the globe every couple of hours.
According to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting News (IRIB News), Mesbah 2's prototype is being manufactured.

Do their Air Force have F-16?
No, the Shah placed orders for F-16A's, but due to the revolution, the deal was cancelled. However there are models and conceptual artwork floating around.

@ Octavaria
Not really a PRC-77.
Look at the thread of the new Iranian missiles. Both look like TOW, because this was what Iranians had at the beginning, but a close look reveals that its very different to it, just like in this case.
Any news on the Iranian single seat attack helicopter? Is it entering service or still being tested
