But how do iranian forces compare to current iraqi forces?

Iraq doesn't have any fighter jets right now, so Iran is stronger. If Iraq acquires even a few squadrons of F-16's or Mirage 2000's however like they're planning to, then the situation will change rapidly.

Iraq had about ~300 outdated Soviet and French fighters at the start of the 2003 war, but Saddam didn't even bother to use the air force as all as it was a futile effort against American airpower. All Iraqi fighter jets were either destroyed on the ground, buried (and sometimes found by Coalition soldiers), abandoned. Some Iraqi fighters were sent abroad before the 1991 War even, some Iraqi MiG-23's were discovered in Former Yugoslavia recently.

yes have a look the rest of this thread, most units of the iranian army use kevlar vests in fully gear "mode", yet in parades some doesnt.
