Hey, you don't stand on deck estimating the color of the water and ruining a great photo oportunity for the other crewmates safely placed on the bow while such a big rocket is launching. You will end up dead or seriously injured, at least poisoned by the fumes. So, what is wrong here? Why?

There is another question around Jamaran and its succesor class destroyer: All SM-1 missiles are launched from launcher, directed towards target under atleast some elevation or from VLS. Iranians are claiming their SM-1 copy/upgrade Fajr/Mehrab are operative. How they are launched (from canisters on the deck), how the rocket locks on target?
