in a modern army soldier have all the same rifle (excepted SF) here I saw at least 10 different rifles (modified g-3,uzi,ak,downgraded m-16,mp5...) so for me Iran army is not a modern army, add all the paramilitary and civilian training bull****.
Not to forget that a lot of heavy material is outclassed or look more like prototype than anything else, about the color there is too much color and bad camo.
Btw in a modern army all troops have same camo (color not, but pattern yes) this to avoid friendly fire.
All this is my personnal idea of Iran army, a lot of propaganda...

well iranian state run news says 12 million so automatically cut that in half and its wikipidia so cut it again so 3 million is more like it
