do they manufacture an Iranian version of the T55 in that factory?
If so, than why? they have licence for manufacturing better tanks, not to mention the ones they can buy from Russia or China.
Its also strange that they have different tanks manufactured one next to the other on the same assembly line.
any pictures of manufacturing the Zulfiqar tanks?

Looks like they are just doing "heavy" maintenance on those tanks.

They remanufacture and upgrade existing T-54/55/Type 59 tanks, most, if not all, of which were captured from the Iraqis during the 1980-88 war.

You confuse the Soviet Army, wich is one thing, with the Russian Federation Army.

Socialist countries always had precision standard for the Armed Forces from Poland to the U.S.S.R, from East Germany to the D.P.R.K.

AFAIK the Soviet Army never used camouflage patterns. The VDV divisions standard pattern was the KLMK that was used as standard until 1991. The Naval Infantry introduced standard pattern the TTsKO in 1987 and this until 1991. The Soviet Army would introduced as standard camouflage the VSSR in 1992-93 but this couldn't become reality for the economic crisis and the fall of the socialist regime. The Soviet Army until 1991 used the standard summer/winter brown uniforms.
The proliferation of different patterns is a problem that begun from 1993-94 with the military and economic collapse.

BTW the Artesh could begin to produce a standard camouflage with different colour patterns...if not, it's true, would be difficult in a battlefield recognize hostile forces, this is a problem that afflicted the Russian forces in the 2 Chechen campaigns in the 1990's where the paramilitary Chechen forces used basically same Russian Army patterns.
