Greetings: My name is Chris. I spent 7 years in the US Army, 4 years enlisted as a Russian Voice Interceptor, then 3 years as an Armor Officer.

I spent 4 1/2 of those years in Germany (back when there was a WEST Germany)

I'm currently unemployed, have no car and I live with my brother (who told me yesterday I can't smoke in the house )

I once told a friend "If I ever have to live with my brother, only one of us is coming out alive".......tick, tock, tick, tock....

Born a proud Texan, just turned 18 a short while back. Finished high school and I'm busy getting into prime shape because I see a dotted line in my future that needs signing.

I'm 3/4 through the recruiting process but i've chosen to do the last test after college to become an MP.
Chinook helicopters make me excited, thinking about joining the Air Force to see if I could eventually fly one.
I go to Centennial College for thier Police Foundations course to become a police officer after I leave the army (if I want to)

I like military history and equipment from around the world, more so in regards to Canada.

Hello all!

I'm 27 years old fella from Finland.
Reason for being here is interest in military matters, weaponry, tactics, strategy and military history.
I did my time in military in 2002 as medic in anti-tank missile platoon.. due to motivation (movetus/vemppa in Finnish) trouble in my platoon I served lot as normal squad member in missile squad. For that reason I'm also qualified to operate Spike anti-tank missile... and qualified with recoiless-rifles too at least in theory. After that I did little extra time as medical instructor and office/storage slave in military hospital as contract soldier.
I'm more or less addicted in Japanese popular culture... mostly movies and girl pop bands (mostly H!P related artists: Buono!, W, Morning Musume, C-ute...).
I'm aircraft mechanic (avionics) by profession but currently on medcal leave. I've been on medical leave for about year and I will perform elaborate Jedi mind tricks to lenghten this as long as I need. AFter while of whitdrival symptoms from work I have started to enjoy doing nothing more than surffing in net, watching movies, playing computer games and exercising. I run about 40km weekly (depending on weather) and practice martial arts (done that since kid).

Forgot a major detail... as it is stated in my profile: "Half way on turning from average European to violently pro-Israeli."... it's actually too true, I'm fast running out of symphaty towards Palestinians.

I'm a fully qualified boilermaker. By this I mean yes I know how to make and repair pressurized vessels made of steel. Not some poxy boilermaker who has never touched nor ever will touch let alone know what the hell a boiler is. I've also extensive experience working in financial services in both the higher education and private consultancy sectors. Also been a hot secretary.
