    While it is likely they are NG or Reserve guys since the guys in the other pictures seem to be wearing NG patches I would like to offer the counter point to this. When I was in Iraq with the NG we had the most sterile trucks. I saw active duty guys running around with Pirate Flags, American Flags and College Flags. Probably one of the dumbest things they could do.

    But, of course, we had our share of screwups so I am not saying we were better, or worse,then active duty.

    Well I'm confused. It is said that those guys are National Guards but HMMWV looks like one which SF use (side MG mount, back MG mount, different armor etc.). Soldier who operate MG have rather 'custom' gear than standard issue. The guy in ACU is from NG but those from that 'Pirate' Humvee probably aren't.
