most my friends have Asus comps, but one of my buddies had the dell, and well, i went with the bigger name, plus i dont have 1600 to spend.
What specs? I couldnt justify spending that much on the Asus either so I got a Acer 6935g. Its got the new 16.4" screen and bluray with dedicated Geforce 9600m GT card.

Nice work grenadier! you are proud for your grandfather and so does he. My grandpa died also last year. he was 97. he fought against he italian invasion in WW2. he had some medals and also a private note, with a medal i think, from Winston Churchill because he helped a downed English pilot to flee to England. i wish i could find all this!
