    Wow, nice find. Look like this confirms it, Georgia did have the SPYDER system.

    There is also this video, where a Python seeker was found in South Ossetia

    Could be worse...they could of captured derby's also. But by the looks of it, its only python 5 thus far.

    No info about Spyder (in Georgia ? ) in that forum page yet, just the photos.

    So this pics confirm, SPYDER was used in South Ossetia war and as far as it is known now it didn't shot down any plane. Anyway Geogia have till now the most modern air defense in war and the strongest comparing to the size of fighting units.

    Georgia did shot down Russian planes
    But it unknown if the SPYDER shot them down
