    edit: I've learned this version of the Croatian coat of arms was adopted in the 1990s. So this type of wings dates post-1990 and sometime before the current pattern wings with the traditional knot in lieu of the shield. Anyone who knows more, please let me know.
    UPDATE: Learned that this pattern was produced and used from 1992-1998
