And a provisional drawing I made in a hurry (using Type 63 and Saladin drawings), based on the assumption that a Saladin AC turret was used:

    ^^^
The chassis is actually a T-26, derived, like the 7TP from the Vickers 6-tonner.

Soldiers with the Forces Armees Nationales Chadiennes (FANT), or National Army of Chad, capture an abandoned Libyan radar station under camouflage at Wadi Doum. Their mission in early 1987 was to reconquer the Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti Prefecture and recover the territory in northern Chad that had been under Libyan control.

Deby later won the first multi-party Chadian presidential vote in 1996.

Abandoned Armament After the Chadian Victory Libyan tanks stand abandoned in the desert after being captured by FANT (Forces Armees Nationales Chadiennes), the Chadian National Army, as troops reconquered the Borkou-Ennedi-Tibesti region of Chad. The Chadian Army recaptured Faya-Largeau and Wadi Doum airport, where the retreating Libyan army abandoned many dead and a great deal of military equipment, most of it of Soviet manufacture. Libyan planes made a bombing raid on the same day in an attempt to destroy material which had fallen into Chadian hands.

To get a good initial idea, have a look at KG200 here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kampfgeschwader_200

Remember that the sheer number of B-17's shot down by the Germans meant that a relatively undamaged crash landed Allied aeroplane would easily have been repaired and kept airborne due to the free availability of spares.

They got their hands on a load of stuff over the years.

Mostly i think they painted it yellow and used it for training their pilots rather than anything too sneaky although they were supposed to use captured bombers to infiltrate and shadow bomber streams to radio back intelligence although that might be as much an urban myth as scarecrow shells.
