    great thread. F-16s with Python-4s...

Is the Kh-31 under the Su-30 an anti-ship or anti-radar version?

Have previously considered a "Bluffer's Guide" on Venezuela but I really can't find much on Google Earth etc. Is there anything interest to find on Google Earth in this neck of the woods?

One of my relatives served in a Cazadores unit (anti guerrilla) during the late 90s or early 2000s. Apparently he engaged in combat with Colombian rebels on 2 occasions, losing bout 8 fellow soldiers and killing an unkown number of rebels. Some other sh1t later happened, with the government and stuff but thats another story... he made Sergeant I think before he got out.

and a pic taken by me while i was in Venezuela for the holidays.

yeah, that was f.... up, but we knew nothing was gonna happened, something would probably happened to Chavez before we'd attacked Colombia in defense of a criminal, if you know what I mean.

but In 1987 when "ARC Caldas" crossed into venezuelan waters was a totally different situation, That was a close call.

I believe thats the anti ship version since they did fire a air to surface missile and dropped a bomb or two during some military exercises a while ago.
