    Default Yugoslavian/Serbian paratroopers ?

    Hi everyone,

Is anybody have some pictures showing this helmet in action ?
It's a standard M85 helmet modified with a 3 points chinstrap like the new M97 helmet in use in the serbian army.

    Thanks in advance.

There was a thread with a boatload of pics from the last Balkan wars, but it was closed down a while ago. If you can dig it up you might be able to find something, good luck.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your answer.
I've searched and found nothing in this post.
    This helmet is post-war too

FYI, Yugo/Serbian Paratroops standard helmet was not the one you posted.
Later on, it was used, but not to often.

    Hi,

I agree with you, the standard helmet for paratrooper was made in fiber glasses.
The helmet I've presented on the topic was in used mid-90's, rarely, that's the reason why I search somes pictures of its utilisation.
It's a non standard helmet, because it's a modification of the simple infantery M85 helmet.

Thanks for your answer, great video.

The pictures you've posted shows the M97 helmet, very nice.

Jumping takes a toll on weapons! It's just not fair, I'll give them a good home.

I know people think Serbia is retrograde, but come on that gun was in use from late 40's to 60's. haha
