    Digital camo? Where?

maneuverability of the F-22 and PAK - that's compromise between the aerodinamics and stealth properties
5th gen fighters should still be pretty damn good at dogfighting. They have a significant advantage in terms of thrust to weight over 4th gen fighters (resulting in better climb rates etc), and advantage the of thrust vectoring (which enables various stall inducing maneuvers) , even if their aerodynamics may not be as finely tuned towards maneuverability (although this can be disputed).

PAK-FA will almost certainly have round nozzles. Russia has not shown any interest in flat nozzles since the pictured research project sometime in the 80s or early 90s. I think the intention is also to have full 3D thrust vectoring, something thats I think not possible with flat nozzles.

If I am not mistaken, that's old protytype 2D thrust-vectoring nozzles for Su-27. Design abandoned after testing.

    Digital camo? Where?
OK, not really digital. Macro-digital (an oxymoron, I know). Whatever. 8)

Black? BLACK???????!!!!!!!!!!??????? you have got to be having an absolute laugh mate - Black? seriously?

Black is the worst ever colour you could paint a low to mid level airframe - its the one colour that catches the eye in the sky the most bar sun glinting off a metallic airframe. It is absolute zero use for day time missions, and only any use for really, really high airframes - even then, a deep grey is better.

There is a reason why RAF training airframes and Police Helicopters in the UK are black - its simply the easiest colour to see because it matches absolutely nothing at all.

[QUOTE = 2495; 4682467] Черный? BLACK ???????!!!!!!!!!!???????

[/ QUOTE]

SR-71 & U-2 Black since they fly at the edge of space

    but what about signature?
    round in comparison with flat?
F-22 has flat, F-35 has round because of STOVL...

You paint your supersonic low to medium airframe matt black and enjoy getting hit by every IR weapon in your threat arena. Hell, every optic in the sky will be able to see you at a substantial distance further than low vis scheme.

Enjoy your matt black heat and light show.

just take a look on TR-1 and Blackbird picks...
SR-71 is supersonic like no other...it's one of the world's first aircraft with the stealth elements....
    what about his IR visibility?
