    how is the vietnam reinacting looked upon over in the states? we did OP Banner (Northern Ireland) over at the shows in the uk last year, and alot of people looked at us as if we were nutters, although we did also get some good feedback as well
    The funny thing is, a lot of other reenactors get weirded out at the thought of doing Vietnam, but just about every vet I've met thinks it's great. I love doing vietnam at a living history event, because the nam display always has a cloud of vets wanting to talk to you and tell you stuff.

    Gerald your stuff is awesome mate, do you still do the ACW events?
    I know a few people that do ACW, it seems really interesting.

    I used to work at Fort Delaware state park for a few years, doing Heavy artillery LH every day. Pretty sweet considering that we fired our 8-inch columbiad daily and drilled bi-weekly on our 32 pounder...but it's kind of dropped off recently since i got a real job. I did at high tide this past year.

    I'm hoping to get back into it but time and money, right?

    hey man, were you with the DDR guys who came out to the marrietta mansion timeline even a few years back? We were the vietnam unit set up right next to you.

    do you happen to know chris ruff? I know he does DDR, and i used to work with him.
