Here are some photos on my photo-blog from a re-enactment in Kiev, Ukraine, which took place on the 10th of November 2008.

    http://handydev.com/savushka/?p=120

The reconstructed battle is one of the many firefights, that took place during the Soviet advance to take back Ukraine.

I was experimenting with a film SLR, so the photos have that ol' grainy feeling to them

Definitely looks like a Kriegsmarine-Uniform, I tell ya.

It was probably because of your SS comment...yeah, such bad guys.
    Political correctness etc...

I second Jarhead, how are you supposed to reenact WW2 without Zee Zerman???

It's like reenacting D Day without the SS... Hello historical accuracy.

That's actually a pretty good site. I used the trick about blocking the cartridge belt and Bandoleers to raise the Enblocs with Blanks to the right height for Ball Ammo.

I love that site, it's full of great info. I do vietnam with the guy who runs that site, and he couldn't be nicer.
