    Cats of Smaller Air Forces

Does anyone here have any pics of the PBY Catalina flying boat in the markings of some of the air forces of smaller countries, which operated this plane after World War Two, that they would be able to post? I would really appreciate it. I'm building Revell-Monogram's giant 1/48 Catalina and I'd like to finish it in an uncommon scheme, if I can find something interesting. I don't want my Cat to look like everyone else's, and I'm looking for ideas. Thanks!

I think I have a book with a Catalina from Latin America somewhere. No scanner, though.

    How about a Danish?

    Or a French example?

    Or Colombian...

    ... Brazil, maybe?

Thanks a lot, guys! I especially like the Brazilian ones. But I've looked at some FCM decals, and I've never seen that one. A lot of their decals seem to be out of production.

Nice one, Mousepad, but I seriously doubt that there is actually a PBN-1 Nomad kit out there. Too many differences from the standard PBY.

Tell me about it... I've been hunting for GST (License built Cats) photos for years. I've found less than five usable ones.

Yes, it's the -5A, just been re-released. Thirty-five dollars, including shipping!
