    the only time i seen these handguards were in Northern Ireland they werent very popular as they weighed a tonne!other than that its just a buckshee CWS on top.

    The torch is a Shrike torch, used from 87 onwards to about 95(last time i saw one) but banned from mobile patrols in NI due to the fact it could blind drivers in following if it was accidentally switched on. The rifle and CWS are bog standard however a CWS and shrike would be a rael bad idea as the light would negate the capabilites of the CWS.

    Sorry but there was no info with the Photos other than the main title so not sure which battalion they are from.

    I wanted to mention how impressive these guys were in Desert Storm. A great bunch of guys and I summarize what the British 1st armored div accomplished in that war in the history forum.
