    A Spartan Armoured Personnel Carrier hits the beach during an amphibious demonstration in Hampshire.
    Members from the 1st Mechanized Brigade were involved in the Maritime Component Power Demo held at Browndown Beach, Gosport on the 28th October 2010. The event took place in October 2010 for the ISCC (Immediate Staff Command Course) which involves Royal Marines coming a shore along with members from the Royal Welsh Regiment.

    A corporal and his dog of the Royal Air Force Police Dog Section, RAF Coningsby endure the cold conditions to perform a routine patrol of the airfield helping to ensure the safety and security of the personnel and equipment at the base.
    For RAF Coningsby it is business as usual, even during extreme weather, so that they can perform they're primary task of defending UK airspace.

    The Clyde Marine Police Unit are pictured in cold conditions escorting submarine HMS Vanguard back to HM Naval Base Faslane in Scotland.
    The Clyde Marine Unit fulfils an important security role by enforcing by-laws and statutory instruments which protect MOD sites and property. In the course of their duties The Police will check water users who approach the restricted and protected areas for access passes; this is routine business and should not be considered threatening.
    The Police will also check speeding licenses and fishing licenses where applicable and enforce speed limits. Police may also check moorings in the dockyard port.

    You brits have some awesome helmets, last years I have seen at least 3 pictures of soldiers with holes in there helmets but survived!
    Great set of photos gentleman, Still one of my fav threats!

    What's the air threat off the Omani coast? Somali pirates in hang gliders or the famous IRGC air force? The Tamil Tigers lost their air force, togther with everything else, a year or so back.

    Merry Christmas! HMS Northumberland Returns to UK




    Merry Christmas: A member of the HMS Northumberland's ship's company smiles as HMS Northumberland returns to the UK following a long deployment. Since deploying on the 19th April the ship has steamed 49,624 nautical miles or approximately twice around the world on anti-arms, anti-people smuggling and counter-terrorism and piracy deterrence patrol in the Middle East.
