Where abouts in the lake district were you? I was in keswick a week or so ago and heard jets flying over. Last time I went to Broughton and saw several jets doing training overhead. Pretty cool.

I was just south-ish of you, around Thirlmere Reservoir. Walking up Great Howe or Dunmail Raise are two of my favourite spots.

It really is quite scary just how many people's lives these new helmets and body armour are saving.

Our war dead count would be so much higher without the new kit.....sobering thought...

Hey Fighting C, cool pics of the Jordanians. Surprising to see how good their camo actually blends in with the fall prairie.

    Howdy,

I have noticed over the last few months that the L85a2 has recieved a new flash suppressor, any word on if this addition is part of the new rail system being fitted to the weapon system or if its been installed due to some operational need or "fix".
