    Looks like bad ammo. ^^

    Reloads with handgun powder or something would be my guess.

    At about 0:30 you hear someone say "bad primer." Using reloads?

    its what seems to be the case apparently one of the rounds did not have any powder in it, the primer detonated and lodged a bullet into the barrel

    the round that detonated the magazine was the one that hit the lodged bullet

    is what seems to be the general consensus

    Several misfires in a row.....having to use the forward assist to close the bolt every time.....might have been time stop and figure out what was going wrong, ya think?

    Something like this happened to me once with my bolt action .22
    I didn't close the chamber all the way. When i fired, the base of the shell ruptured and gun powder came flying out the side of the mechanism. Hurts like a bitch in the eyes!

    never once did he actually look to see if a round was being chambered.

    Well here in the Philippines if the rifle actually blew up in the soldiers face and it was not his fault, the armorer gets court martialled.
