It's always one man. Even today.

I don't know why but I always find it to be fascinating watching these kind of old photos. You look at people and there is something you see in their eyes. I can't describe the things that go though my mind. And whether it's good or bad, I wish I could go back in time and see those things for myself or maybe get the chance to sit down with people like Hitler, Stalin, Himmler etc. and just ask them questions about their past, their ideas and believes, the reason why they did those things etc.

But then again, he was voted for power. He received 44 percent of votes in 1933 elections. And atleast I haven't ever heard that anybody would claim that it was rigged election. At that point he's view of world wasn't secret either, he had already published Mein Kampf.

He was supported by majority even after invasion on Poland and France. There was quite good mood of the public in Germany after above events.

Someone asked about Hitlers automobile: He LOVED mercedes benz's going as far as repurchasing his original red benz used prior to being jaield during the failed pustch (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) He also loved drop tops, prefering to ride w/ top down almost always. The black car pictured is (or was) a heavily armored MB 770K w/ larger fuel tank. Hitler was also said to have submitted design plans and drawings to MB for cars during his rule.

In France it is hard to find it (in legal way), the one I have has been bought by my history teacher : He had to show his official card to convince the book-seller.
Adolf was a magnetic orator but a terrible writer, his writing style is basic and dedicated to masses.
If you want to read a good book try "A Confederacy of Dunces" (John Kennedy Toole) it's one of the funniest book I've read !

I had it but as an ebook. Couldn't read much of it, not very comfortable for my eyes.

I would like to read it but as some said, it's really hard to find and that applies for Holland as well, it's banned. I could try to get it some place else e.g. Italy. When I was on vacation there, I saw pictures of different nazi leaders, including Hitler's, on bottles of liquor. It was 5 years ago but I am pretty sure they have his book as well.

EDIT: btw guys, I have found it as a PDF file, it's in English. If you are interested PM me and I'll provide you with a download link. It's RS link and I don't want to post it here. I am not sure what the rules are regarding warez.

Found this link to many Third Reich photos:

    http://pro.corbis.com/search/searchF...rmed+forces%22

Look for the photo on page 2 of Stalin's son captured by German forces.

This thread is worth it's weight in gold ito of historical content.
