Fellow members and guest! All men!!! Hear ye this..It's that time of year again. Valentines Day is nearly upon us. All the girly girl ads are on TV. Enticing your "significant other" Wife/girlfriend/lover etc to hit you up for more loot. Don't fall for it!..

Go cheap ..if you must! Follow Popeye's instructions for a fun filled and cheap V-Day!

First off get her a card at the dollar store. Even you can afford buck. Hells bells in the dollar stores here in Iowa cards are two for $1!! So by one for next year.

Second Get that Sunday paper and clip coupons for a trip to your nearest fast food joint. Stay outta that drive through. And this time take her inside. She'll appreciate that! And don't forget to super size that meal..

Now the dreaded movie..Stay away from Chick flicks! This can be avoided by renting some movies with hariy balls the day before V-Day! Just tell her they were fresh outta Chick flicks. However she may wanna go out to a movie..This does pose a dilemea..just have some imanginary car trouble. Tell her we gotta take the bus..No self respecting woman wants to be seen on the bus with her beau on V-day!!

Boycott V-day! But go cheap if you must..Don't fall for the hype. It just a conspiracy by women to get more loot outta real men and another attempt to turn you into a girly man.

.....my girlfriend is making me go see the movie Valentines Day...... I had to say yes since I made her sit through almost 8 hours of Top gear one day, she doesn't like it but deep down inside i think shed rather stay at my house and watch Top gear re-runs
