Statistically, men spend twice as much as women for VD. Hence my boycott. What really pisses me off though is that feeling that our wives and girlfriends are making us a favour by being our wives and gfs. Like we have to pay in order to have them around as if they are somehow better. I'm sorry, my gf is just as wonderfully awful or awfully wonderful like any other woman on this planet. She gets my love through my actions (from buying her flowers unexpectedly or not bitching about her compulsive lack of punctuality and being a generally awesome, caring bf). Nothing cute here.

Society has trained us all to expect as much. I must say its pretty sad for us as men to complain about all this since we do still control the planet but that wont stop us from whining though. Men have been taught to expect one good complement every year while women are taught to demand at least one every hour and hence the ball twisting we endure come V-Day If it weren't for the nookie which evolution still hasn't allowed us to overcome we'd probably tell our significant others to hit the couch!
