Default Dutch Army Helly Hansen Wool fleece liner?

    Hello,

I came across somewhere a mention of a jacket the Dutch military used to issue..its made by Helly Hansen and mainly wool pile except I cannot find it now.

Think Ullfrotte/Woolpower but minus the ahem, stiff price.

Does anyone know if these are still issued or where they can be picked up?
Perhaps one of our Dutch friends can shed some light on this Dutch wool.
    Thanks.

    Yup, still issued.

They are too hot too run in, too cold to stand still in. The cuffs are too itchy and stiff. Has no good collar so you neck and chest still get cold.

You would be better off buying something good.

Search some ebay like shop for a new one.

I never liked them, but maybe you will.

Agreed, the fleece is a pile of wank. Instead I recommend softie or similar.

Thanks for the feedback , fellows.

I was under the impression that it would be like Ullfrotte but without the price tag.

bvvelzen, hee, your description of the fleece is not very encouraging.

    Thanks.
