    Not really.

Kilo has no planes on the sail and a single rudder below the tail planes.

Yuan has planes on the sail and a conventional "+" type of control surfaces aft.

On March 12, in line with the characteristics of its tasks, a flight regiment of the aviation force under the South China Sea Fleet of the PLA Navy increased the proportion and difficulty in night tactical training for the new crew and gave prominence to practicing air-to-ground commanding cooperation and formation tactical coordination, in a bid to further enhance the regiment's capability in carrying out missions at night.

In order to temper the troops' capability of rapid reaction in actual war, a missile frigate group under the South China Sea Fleet of the PLA Navy took its ships and men to the complicated waters and organized a single ship surface-to-air live gunfire practice, in a bid to improve single ship commander's fire commanding skill and enhance overall combat effectiveness of combat unit. Shown in the picture is the scene of the No. 765 gunboat of the group conducting surface-to-air live gunfire practice on March 22.

As soon as the recruits were assigned to companies, the troop units under the Hami Military Sub-Command of the Xinjiang Military Area Command conducted such function educations as depicting boundary tablets, presenting rifles and taking oath, in a bid to arouse the sense of honor and the sense of responsibility of the recruits in performing meritorious service in the cause of frontier defense. Shown in the picture is a scene of two recruits from the Laoyemiao frontier defense company of the Hami Military Sub-Command depicting the boundary tablet in early March.

    Marks of hard training

    Precision sniping

    Hold on! Hold on!

    As brave as a tiger

    Surprise attack on dark night

They underwent brutal training and improved their unique skills. They competed in the international scout competition in Erna. They demonstrated their power and prestige in the Sino-Russian joint military exercise. They are the Chinese PLA paratroops. In order to acquire unmatched skills, they have to make hard efforts that are beyond the imagination of ordinary people. The Pictures here show some scenes of their training.
