China has been a pioneer of advanced technologies for thousands of years not to mentioned that China is one of the only few countries around the world capable of indigenous military hardware designs.There are a lot of fans of Chinese military tech and forces on this site, however when members such as yourself add "advanced" in every quote it makes you look stupid. there is nothing advanced about anything that you have shown here.

The HY IS China's latest ATGM so it should be fairly advanced.
According to Wiki, it was developed as an equivalent to Hellfire.
I don't know if the Chinese ever heard of it, but in 1980s West Germany, there was a defense project called "elevating combat platform" that looked pretty similar.
A hydraulic platform mounted on a truck, armed with ATGMs. The truck would be parked in a Forest and the platform elevated slightly above the tree tops in order to fire the missiles at soviet tanks.
This seems to be a similar concept.

In the original truck mounted platform, there would have been a poor dude sitting in the platform in 25 meters height while 125mm shells whizzed past as he guided the HOT missiles to target
Later tank based versions had unmanned platforms and were to use either PARS 3 or ADATS.
West German late 80s projects contained much promise but were all canned when the reunification came.
I just wonder what such a system on a truck is for.
I mean it made sense for West Germany, fighting a defensive war against a large armored force in a flat area with many forests.
But for China?

Yes, i mean China GT6 AT-weapon system as the similar concept as Germany original "elevating combat platform". But GT6 only a export version weapon for foreign weapons market, as i known PLA Army didn't equip it because they have many WZ-9 and WZ-10 armed helicopters,enough air anti-tank combat platforms maybe add WZ-19(still developing) in the future.Everything these days is "advanced".
