JL2 will be finalized the design in 2011 which is one year early than plan(poor Bulava). If you are intersted in the technology of ballistic missiles and good at Chinese, you can go to http://www.9ifly.cn/. It's a very professional website. Most Chinese space information in the forum of NASA is from this site.

Bulava problems have nothing to do with fuel, and comparing the Russian and Chinese missile experience is idiotic.

Russia don't have enough exprience about solid fuel SLBM. SS-N-20 is not a successful design.

The technology of synthetic resin of DF31A was introduced from Russia. And now, Russia want to introduce Chinese technology of carbon boost spout of JL2.

So China and Russia is working on the same engine together... Has this something to do with the rumored AL-41 joint-venture we heard some time about? Or is this a totally new engine, like mentioned Pulse-Detonation Engine?

Russia has 50 years and counting of missile tech. They have had a space program before China did (actually, it was Russia who built Chinese space capabilities). They where producing both Liquid and solid fuel before the Chinese where. I doubt China has anything much like the Topol-M, or Sineva.

I know that Chinese missiles are capable as well. But throwing around false statements is something else.

Not same engine, but same interfaces and share the technologies of their own.

Russia has a lot more successful solid fuel experience than China, that much is sure.

The country which has 50 years experience of missile is called USSR, not Russia today. Anyway, I said in above, Russia don't enough enough experience of solid SLBM. SS-N-20 is not a successful design, and the factory of SS-N-20 is owned by Ukraine now days.

Better check that one out. As for Solid Fuel, you state they have no experience in Solid Fuel, yet I give evidence that they do more so then China. Then you go and say SLBM? More like you don't even know what you are talking about.

You can check my comments above, they are all about SLBM, not ordinary ICBM. The technlogy of SLBM is much more complex.

Yeah, and look at Sineva. They seem to produce a successful SLBM. So all of a sudden, because it is solid Fuel, they must go to China to produce one? I don't think so.

I never said they MUST go to China to produce one. I just said Russian had introduced Chinese version NEPE-N-15 fuel to imporve Bulava, and JL2 will finalized the design in 2011.

Russia today is not USSR, and China now days is not China 20 years ago.

Unless you have evidence to prove otherwise, you are just talking. Also, Russia now still produces better weapons then China, don't kid yourself.
