Unhappy Request - night vision scope reticles images

Hallo! Need photos or images of military NV scopes reticles. Have some Russian photos and French. There are too less photos in the Net!

A lot of what we use for night vision scopes is actually just a night vision device in combination with either our ACOG or Leupold. So, the reticle would be the same as those, just dark over a green image. Well, the ACOG wouldn't be all that dark because of the tritium or fiber optic.

You speak about so called night vision modules (AN/PVS-22 or Simrad KN203 for example). I`m interested in REAL night vision scopes like AN/PVS-2, AN/PVS-4 and others either American or others.

How about "please" or "I would appreciate..."? It would look much better on your part than debating the semantics of what type of night vision a device is or isn't. Show a bit more respect to the man who answered your first post.

I wish you would have asked sooner. My AN/PVS-2 is packed. It wasn't that good of a reticle anyway, pretty hard to see. I do have a 1PN58 reticle somewhere if you want it.

Good luck, I believe the AN/PVS-4 is obsoleted. We sent ours home before shipping off to Iraq.

The PVS-4 had different reticle patterns you could install depending on the weapon used. The case had little aluminum circles with patterns for the M79/M203, M67 RR, M14/M60, M16, etc.

Thank you Firefly26 I have Russian manuals (in Russian!) for 1pn58, 1pn51 and some other Soviet night vision scopes. So I know the reticle of 1pn58. AN/PVS-2, AN/PVS-4 and other (especially OB25, Orion 80, Orion 110, Eltro B8-V) NVS reticles are preferably.

The scope I had was a refurbished Israeli AN/PVS-2A.

The reticle had something in Hebrew written to the left of it and the caliber.

It was not illuminated and very small.

It was a simple cross with notches directly below it that were the points of aim for different ranges. It looked something like this (ignore forward slashes):

There are shots through a variety of optics, scopes, illuminators, and laser sites here:

Strange... Yesterday found article about AN/PVS-4 in Wikipedia - your reticle looks like AN/PVS-4 reticle for M16 rifle. Do you have manual for AN/PVS-2? If you have please scan the reticle image and post it.

No the manual went with it, and I can't find a free pdf anywhere.
