No offense bro. But you looks like in a vietcong reenactment. Your pants and shirt are too tight/ short. If you have noticed, IDF troopers worn baggy shirt and pants. No butt crack, not IDF. LOL

Sorry to say this, but no sh*t! We're naturally, taller and fatter than you. No racism intended.

Looking great, actually. You really have the body armor, with the ceramic plates etc?

Most popular brands for hiking boots are Asolo, Meindl, and (not sure how to spell it) Reichel.
If you get Asolo, the exact brand is the Asolo TPS, or Asolo TPS Highland (This is what I have).

    TPS Highland: http://www.backcountry.com/images/it...SO0004/BRN.jpg
    TPS: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...3L._AA280_.jpg

I'm not sure the exact model of Reichels, but the one's I saw were black if it helps.

The Meindl I think was the MFS in a beige colour, but I couldn't find the exact one.

Anyways, point is there is no ONE boot that is used, and even within many units there are differences in boots.

So it's RAICHLE and this is the boot I remember but I don't know the model: http://www.ideal-hiking-equipment.co...wear-boots.jpg

For some reason I can't find Raichle's official site. Anyways, hope this helps you guys.
I really recommend the Asolo TPS Highlands. It's what I was issued and I've worn them ever since. I've put many, many, MANY kilometers through them, they are super comfortable and supportive, form to your foot, and after all that distance and time they are still doing fine. The sole is a bit worn down, but other than that great.

P.s. I find this whole thread really, really weird lol.

Ashdeuzo, your kit is ridiculous (in a good way). Only thing I would say is make a cover for the goggles so they don't shine in sunlight, and your watch cover and the stock of your rifle are a little unusual. I only ever saw two people with that stock while serving, it was huge wasach lol.

Thank you for your comments, I know that the stock is a little unusal, but it is for the battery. For the shoes, the leather boots are comfortable, perhaps I will change it but I have already too many shoes!

These hiking boots are pretty expensive anyways, but there's the info anyways. Apparently Raichle was renamed Mammut, so look there if interested.
