Yeah it is Czechoslovak samopal Vz.58, because I do not have any Kalashnikov, Uzi, or FN-FAL rifle at my disposal yet...

Wow. You guys are serious about this!

Good luck with the march; are you doing it with equipment? Anyway, 100K or even 10K is a serious commitment (regardless of gear or no gear).

Now to those para wings... I thought one can wear them only on aleph uniform, I saw a pictures where there were paratroopers wearing beth uniform, but they never wore their wings (only on aleph uniforom shirts).

Absolutely correct; wings are only worn with Aleph's. You know your stuff!

Yeah, you are right about different period of origin of my uniform parts... but you also know why... it is extremely difficult to get the real IDF equipment, especially inf trying to reenact older time periods (e.g. Yom Kippur war in my case). I will try to improve this as best as I can and as soon as I can Toda raba!

Certainly understandable! Nonetheless, impressive what you have.

Very cool. I have only jumped from C130's, but know that the parachute expereince also depends on the type of plane. C47's were still in IDF service when I served (late '80's), and some guys from my unit jumped from the old Dakotas. I have always wanted to be able from a different platform, but never have, and alas, likely never will.

But jumping in IDF gear from an old Soviet plane, a bi-plane no less, is very, very cool. Hope you were able to take lots of pictures!

Originally, they wanted us to jump from another plane (something looking like German Fieseler Storch airplane from WW II), but we refused and said that we prefer something more like Dakota. Luckilly, they had also Ant-2 and complied with our wishes
Here are some pictures... of course, parachute, harness and helmets are modern (they did not let me to jump with IDF helmet).

    really cool pics

guys do me favor please, i want to ask which body armor or flak vest that IDF used inside the body armor ??

    or

and what is the name of the body armor or flak vest
i want to try to make good replica of these body armor for airsoft reenactment purpose, and sell it for indonesian market or international (if it possible )

i also confused which combat or recon vest that used by the IDF,
i bouht IDF combat vest from Zfi-inc which is Marom Dolphin, but i saw in few comment in renactor's forum they said Marom Dolphin is not used by the IDF, it's just civilian or commercial item. I had information from http://irvingshapiro.tripod.com/cgi-...yeret_com2.htm it's witten that Marom Dolphin is the largest vest manufacture in Israel, does anyone know which one used by IDF, Achidateex ?? or Marom Dolphin ? or other brand

    thanks

IDF uses bulletproof vest manufactured by ZFI inc. We called it "Hashmonai".
Some units(tankists for example) uses flak-vests from the first photo. We called it "Shahpatz"
Its israeli copy of old american PASGT-vest.

Sometimes i see "Shahpod" - the vest with integrated bulletproof plates or american PASGT vest as we see it in America. But its old and very rare photos.

Marom dolphin bodyarmor i usually see on bodyguardts etc, not in the army.
    Sorry for my english.

Need to get a cover on the helmet. Doesn't need to be a mitznefet (clown hat) but a camo cover or sandbag fabric secured by a strip of rubber (cut inner tube is fine.)

Dudes, totally kickass. Only one thing - the weapon belt is always on you, during fight or march.
