The Romanian Air Force Staff will participate with more than 300 soldiers from the 71st Air Base Campia Turzii and the 90th Air Transport Base Otopeni with 12 MiG 21 LanceRs and 4 IAR 330 SOCAT helicopters.

"JACKAL STONE 09" Exercise
Chiefs of Staff Committee decided to analyze the opportunity of introducing a single type of uniform. It is possible that after they have taken to account all aspects from quality material, the index of blinding design and other economic and military factors, beginning with the end of the next year it may join endowment to the Army a single type of uniform, the so called unique outfit, which is wants to equalize forest and desert patterns passing to a single pattern type. Uniforms proposed, without being finals-also the ideea to change the uniforms is not final-can be seen during next few weeks in major garrisons all over the country. Even if they decide to move to a new type of uniform, this can happen at soon as late 2010, that model would be tested in real conditions in the country and in theaters of operations. The stage for testing by wearing requires at least six months. The exhibition runs until the end of October, then is submit a report and, depending on what decision is taken, will follow tests by wearing, and all stages can not be reduced under 10-12 months.
Right now there are no pictures. Next week will be EXPOMIL, and I hope this uniforms will be there, and we will have more details.
