It was retired and "stored" in 2003.
1st April 2013, Romanian Air Force celebrates 100 years since the first Law of Organization of Military Aeronautics. Basically the law that created the Romanian Air Force.
After consulting existing pilots and flight schools, the Romanian Parliament voted on the "Law of Organization of Military Aeronautics" on 1st April 1913, which was sanctioned by the High Royal Decree no. 3199 of 18/30 April 1913 by King Carol I of Romania.
Some info can be found on the official Air Force website: http://www.roaf.ro/ro/index.htm Honestly, I was expecting a bit more publicity... maybe a press release on the National Defense website. Even with the current RoAF problems a centenary is not something to ignore.
I hope by the end of the month to hear about some festivities and definitely they should organize something for July, 20th (Romanian Air Force Day).

Does anyone have any info on what was decided regarding sending romanian troops in Mali? A couple of months ago they were thinking of sending some 10 soldiers but I never heard anything from then.
I didnt hear anything either, but you know how transparent our leaders are.
