Lebanese female internal security forces patrol the Mar Elias district of Beirut on a training assignment on June 27, 2012, in preparation for starting their duties for the first time in the Lebanese capital next month. This will be the east Mediterranean country's first female police contingent.

they are part of 610 new cadets that graduated recently,Women are present in the Army and Security General but in a more crerical role and in the ISF but this is the first time as (Combat)
as for the ethnic group this is very sensitive in Lebanon

The 610 women cadets come from the 18 Lebanese religious groups. I guess noticeable wearing of religious and political signs are forbidden in the Lebanese Armed Foces.
