I thought all communist guerilla in South America were support by Cuba.

It's not that hard to buy Chinese AK in North America, specially the semi-automatic one. Infact I belive majority of the AK-47 in North America are Chinese type59.

I cant imagine, how with all those guns available to them, they are easily brought down by the Military. Good thing these cartels have no concept of "training"

wow... those mexican cartels were into some really serious arsenal, good thing the good guys got hold of them first before they could use it...

with that kind of arsenal, they could run for a coup to a small nation

particularly love the gold 1911s, they're just like in the movies hehe...

Could someone ID that weapon that is on the bottom row, far right hand side? It looks like some kind of short barreled AR-15 but in a caliber different than 5.56 mm.

Other than buying them strait from corrupt police and military sources (G3's and M-4s), it looks that most of those assault rifles are bought in the gun shops in the USA, most are original semi-auto versions that may, or not, be modified to fire full-auto.
