    Don't want to fill up the 'post a photo you have taken' thread.

    Went to Twycross Zoo today, most pictures are not crops, just loaded as RAW into CS3 with my fav contrast settings. A fair few are shot through glass, especially any primates.

    These are great shots, thank you for sharing them
    They feel like portraits, almost more like class photos
    I especially enjoyed the tortoise and giraffe shots.

    So all of these are in RAW format? You must have a pretty decent memory card, or a lot of them.

    Great shots! The crispness is professional quality.

    Thanks.

    I always shoot in raw only, that way I can control the contrast and sharpness more. I doubt I'd get the same quality if the camera was making jpeg's for me.

    RAW's are not that massive on the D40, I can get 730 onto a 4 gig card.

    That is impressive. I can only hold about 220 on a 4gb.

    I can get 655 with D60 on 8gb.. but 730 on 4gb is alot yea
