What about eotech sights?
By the way, who produces the best red dots?
there is no "best"
now that we got that out of the way, eotech just landed a large military contract, so that means the cant be bad, but that also means your going to have fun finding one right now.
Trijicon makes reflex sights that are pretty decent.
I've heard only bad things about the trijicon reflex sights...Originally Posted by One_A
Try going to www.ar15.com they have good info about optics.
I have an Eotech & an Aimpoint both are great. Basicly it comes down to personal preferance.
sorry about spelling i'm on my way to bed after an all nighter
I have a Trijicon reflex II on my M4ogery and I like it allot, it may not be as bright as an Eotech during the night but it's not badOriginally Posted by TRACER_BULLET

How about using sight in bright sunlight/with flashlight?Originally Posted by Geezah
trijicon also makes the tri power.
had some problems at first but from accounts they have been worked out, but the jury is still out on this one.
but it has a back up tritium and fiber obtic illumination if the battery dies something the competitors dont offer.
trijicon is the choice for many SOF units in the US and is what I have on my M-4....
All i have to say about this is to each his own.
Go HERE to get good info on optics. nuff said
As the above said to each their own.
My own:
TA31F (20" AR15) .223
TA11E (18" M1A Scout) .308
TX30 (16" AR15) .223
RX06-23 (AK-47) 7.62
TR20 (Bolt Action Remington) 25-06
TR21R (18.5" AR15) .223
TR21R (Lever Action Marlin) .45-70
All Trijicon, all great
On the RX06-23 (Reflex II) it is fine in sunlight, but does washout under flashlight and being in a dark area targeting a bright area. The TX30 (Tripower-which really is Quadpower when you count the cylum) is the latest addition to the collection and I really like it, haven't had it long enough to answer any durability questions but functionality and versitility is great.
You can see the three AR's with scopes at:

I have one of those polarizing filters for my Reflex and this works pretty good with flashlight/bright light. Now on my AK I have a Kobra Red Dot and I like it but the Reflex wins out of the two.Originally Posted by Claymore

hey Geezah,
I'm intrested in seeing a pic of your M4gery![]()
I remember you posted pics from one of your shoots but I don't remember what your AR looks like.
I'll throw up a pic of mine if ya wanna see it![]()
I'll try and take a pic tonight, since the Kentucky shoot I've added a Reflex II and an ARMS 40L, hope to have a KAC vert grip and Surefire M73 within the next couple of weeks.Originally Posted by TRACER_BULLET
Oh.....and then I'm going to ship it off to Kurts Kustom(?) to get the blasted mini-Y taken off and a much more people friendly brake put on.
Reflex is a solid sight, it is a better sight then the newly released Tri-power.
As far as Reflex is concern, I have problem with the amber dot under those parking lot orange lights, the dot disappear under Surefire 9v light, the blue tint on the lens obscure the target out pass 100 yard under twilight condition. My choice remains the Aimpoint or the EOTech. You really can't go wrong with either.
LMT MRP CQB rifle with EOTech 552 Rev F and Troy BUIS.
Same gun with Aimpoint M2 and ARMS #22/M68 mount
