Yeah well, if you don't have the nessesary technology anymore to build, repair and maintain missiles, then you can only withness how everything rottens away. I wonder where all the money vanishes and on what efforts ....

    and ....

what's actually the point of US style looking outfits .... ? Yeah, this one is veeeery not US looking .... lol. I don't get it. They should design combat dress with a bit of traditional Choxa in it. Not nessesarily the old one like the Cossacks do, something unique innovative and modern in look. Seriously. Why does nobody think about it. Why must the Georgian soldier look and behave like an American ? at least they march Georgian ....

The answer to your questions is very simple, we don't have any national pride and our government will do anything to please their patrons.

You know .... a little supra, a bit of wine here and there .... and then maybe they will "forget" to ship them back again ....... ^^

Nah, now seriously. Yes they belong to us now. The gov paid for them. 5 million USD contribution in addition to transit costs from the US to Georgia from mainly US side.

At the current state, Special Forces Brigade owns about 25 vehicles, don't know how much Infantry Brigades own and now additional 40 vehicles. I am pretty sure we now have something over 100 Humvees in service. We allready had a score of humvees in 2001-2004 + we captured a few Special Forces variants from Abashidzes security guards.

What in the world!? A Caucaus-region, former Soviet Republic wearing Canadian-Style Mountie uniforms and US M-1910 Campaign Hats!? (Now I have seen everything!) Are they Forest Service or highway patrol? This is akin to the US Marine Corp wearing ushanka's! Talk about East meets West!

I am pretty pissed because of that .... we are throwing culture into the drawer. Heck, we even used the multicam en mass earlier than US forces started to think about it. This is madness.

    Whatever, some pictures:

Does anyone else remember a photo from the South Ossetian war with a man standing on a tank with a sword in his hand? The tank was most likely T-72. Or is my mind playing tricks on me? I'm pretty sure it was a Georgian tank and it was from that particular conflict.
