Nope, one of the earliest equipment since 2001.

I wonder why Russian sources are totaly inacurate regarding Georgian military equipment. Looks like MIA is doing quite a good job ....

    I can afford a joke, that’s it.

    On serious note:

    - Is Georgia mass producing antitank mines?
    - Is Georgian infantry (on platoon level) trained to use antitank mines?

P.S. what the hell is that “Chapayevskaja tachanka” concept with 2 MG in the rear (0:48 parade trailer)?

Would it make sence to you if there was only one mine ......... ?

There are allways at least one, sometimes two engineer/pioneer platoon specialized on explosives, anti-tank warfare, mine-clearing etc as support in an infantry company. Rifle platoons are allways equipped with RPGs and some do also have explosives specialists.

Yea that Didgori-3(?) looks realy strange. It would have been better, if it had a mortar platform there instead.

some side info: For anyone who wonders where the Georgian army gets it's uniforms and material from:
Georgia currently produces it's own fabricates and makes whole uniform sets starting with the combat boots, to the cloth up to boonies. All Made in Georgia only.

Some interesting private concept named "TAO smg". Too sad, that it will most likely die as many other projects. I really wished, this smg would be given a go.

    Basic Info.

submachinegun based on AKM framework with bullpup design.
AKM standart firing mechanism, standart 7.62mm barrel replaced by 223 Remington 9mm barrel
    magazine 32 bullets.
    Firing mode. Single and Auto.
Effective Range: 150m, recoil lowered heavily.
    Scopes and lasers atachable
    cost: up to 5,000 USD

Concept is adaptable on any AK variant that exist.

Ok, some MOD info about controversal military formations. This will help to divide them as many though all were part of Special Forces.

    http://mod.gov.ge/NewsFiles/ywlqwldhcpfnyfoeng.pdf

Separate Light Infantry Battalion Commander of the Battalion is LTC Jemal Todua. The Battalion is ready to carry out full
range of combat operations. The Battalion personnel can be also used as marine landing
force. The Battalion personnel participated in various peacekeeping operations in the Kosovo
region, Iraq and Afghanistan. For the present moment (since January 2012), one, the platoon
size unit is serving in Kabul, Afghanistan as part of the French military contingent.
This is not 1st or 13th LIB. This is some kind of light infantry with special role, like peacekeeping and maritime offensives. You can simply say, it's the marine infantry.

Separate Mountain--Reconnaissance Battalion --Reconnaissance Battalion The Battalion Commander is LTC Mamuka Abashidze. The Battalion is ready to carry out a
full range of combat operations. The personnel of the Battalion have already undergone
Summer and Winter Mountain-Reconnaissance training courses. The military personnel are distinguished for high level of combat preparation and are capable to fulfill the tasks
    entrusted.
This is the Rapid Response Battalion.

Special Operation Forces The commander of the unit is Colonel Koba Akhvlediani. The main purpose of the special
operation forces is to carry out combat tasks such as direct action, special reconnaissance,
counter-terrorism and non-conventional activities. Furthermore, the unit can execute
    psychological, humanitarian and security operations.
The brigade consists of : Special Operations School and Training Center, Special Purpose Battalion, "Iverioni" Attack Battalion, Naval Special Units, Support Battalion.

Military Scientific-Technical Center "Delta" operating under subordination of the Ministry of Defence, presented at the Industrial Parade self-made heavy armored technique, artillery systems and aircrafts.

    They are:
    • Lazika
    • Didgori-(3 models)
    • Unmanned Aerial System
    • Three -Axle Armored Vehicle
    • 60mm Mortar
    • 82mm Mortar
    • 120mm Mortar
    • Pistol
    • "RPG-7" Light Anti-Tank Grenade Launcher
    • Disposable Grenade Launcher
    • "MKUDRO" Noiseless Mortar
    • "RD-7" Off-route Antitank Mine
    • Automatic Weapon
    • M4 Silencer
    • Underbarrel Grenade Launcher "ГП-25"
    • Underbarrel Grenade Launcher "AG-40"
    • military gear and uniform
"Automatic Weapon" is probably what is the new machinegun/assault rifle/automatic rifle (??) called "G-5"

"Disposable Grenade Launcher" - well, most likely Single-Shot tubes like RPG-22

"Pistol" is probably a Georgian new pistol variant or a copy of Swiss Glock

"Three -Axle Armored Vehicle" is probably the new APC I have heared about, which is not based on any yet existing APC design ....

Yes and I also love the "names" ..... lol

I wonder why Georgia doesnt help to arm the Syrian opposition. They could earn some money and find a first market for their domestic production. In the same move they could harm their arch enemy Russia...
Maybe Georgia already does? Would only be logical from Georigias point of view IMO.

Well first of all that would only work for the small production line. But the main issue is that all this is primarly aimed to equip the GAF in first line and when finished, everything will be put on global market. Well it wouldn't harm the relations to Russia more than it is allready. Even if, I think Georgia atm would care most less what Russian politicians have to brabble. Basicaly that's a good idea and would be very profitable.

I'm serious. The opposition has to buy the weapons somewhere. The Saudis currently tunnel a lot of money towards the opposition so they can buy ammo and weaponry. The Russians sell weapons to Assad, so why shouldn't Georgia sell weapons to the FSA?
I bet the USA would green light that so they don't have to get their hands dirty.
