A reopening of the old Su25 line would be even more remarkable. Good luck to Georgia, hopefully they can find some export customers...
Yeah, the Su-25 would be a remarkable step forward. I really wish it will come so. Surely, we may not reach the same level as during the soviet era, but it definitly would be magnificant for the industry's development.

In exception of IFV's and MLRS and UAV's .... ?
Well, we are still buyng Turkish APC's as far as I know and I think, you are still good in business, so I wouldn't worry about that. The Cobra turned out to be a well armoured car and the Ejder, well, it's not combat tested, but seems to be a good APC.

Our neighbors (Armenia & Azerbaijan) got some better imported hardware.
But after appearing of LAZIKA and Georgian MLRS it clear that we got better local made weapons.
As the president said our production is much more cheaper then buying the same class military hardware abroad...Also mentioned about selling them(in the long-run of course).
So let`s hope to see several Georgian MLRSs on 26 of May. (Tracked vehicles are not allowed at the parade)

P.S. Guys get ready to see some new production soon...Including UAVs.

We'll see if that changes in case US provides us the weaponry we are pledging for for 11 years allready. For that, they must be involved more into our defence. We have a ****load of needs, beginning with land and ending with air equipment.
Simple stuff like up to date AT, AA weaponry are missing.

But remember, this all due to US global weapon embargo on us. If that has been really lifted, I don't see any problems for Georgia to aquire superior weaponry. If the US wants to consequently cooperate with us in the sphere of defence, we most likely will also get some extra equipment donated like all the other countries, which have similar agreements.
