Are these uniforms made commercially or by a Georgian contractor or something?
I saw a Georgian "marpat" shirt a while ago on ebay and it was made by TRU-SPEC. Don't know if it was fake or not....
thanks

Are the Georgians into 5.56mm now, if so is there a standardized, indigenous assault rifle??
IIRC, only special forces units use the TAR-21s and the G-36s.
Although I do want to know the full name of the SOFs in Georgia such as the SOD.
S.O.D - Spezialuri Operaziuli Departamenti ( Special Operational Department )
K.U.D - Konstitutiuri Usabrtxoebis Departamenti ( Department for Constitutional Order )
Komandos Batalioni - Commando Batallion
Elita - Elite
Elitaruli Shenadgarebi - Elite Formations/Elite Commandos
Specnazi/Spec Danishnulebis Rasmi - General word for Special Forces or SpecOps.
The Special Forces sub units for each batallion have numbers and patch codes which I don't know.
They do often use english designations.

Yeah no kidding. Much better options out their.
BTW as it stands they have quite the logistics problems.
They have:
Ak-74 left over from the Soviet Union
New Arsenal Made Ak-74
Ak-47's
Tavors
Hk G36's
VSS Vintorez
And Turkish made G-3's which I have not seen with my own eyes but have heard from Multiple sources.
